After over a year of successfully running Press Start Arcade, we were fortunate enough to secure the funds needed for our move & expansion into the Old Taylor High cafetaria. But our vision of creating a true, high-quality entertainment lounge is still out of our reach.
Contributions will be used to further transform our existing lounge space, complete the build out of our party room, & give us the flexibility of adding highly requested arcade games – such as air hockey, Skee-ball, and more Stern pinball machines.

About Us
Press Start Arcade is a locally owned arcade just outside Austin in Taylor, TX.
Located in Old Taylor High, the arcade sits in the old cafeteria, which has been lovingly transformed into a modern, yet nostalgic arcade for all ages.
Also located within the cafeteria is our sister store, Mother’s Basement Games, which sells board games & collectible items.
We look forward to many fun afternoons and evenings at Old Taylor High 🌟
How does the arcade work?
- Buy a digital card the kiosk by the front door.
- Minimum purchase is $5, but the more you buy the more bonus credits you get!
- Use the digital card to play games, which range from 5 to 9 credits each.
- Reload your game card anytime!
- Redeem tickets for prizes!
